Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a rapidly growing international company in the API sector. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in expanding the business across the US market.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the API field.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered successfully.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure seamless product delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, preferably in the API or related sectors (pharmaceuticals, chemicals, etc.).
- Strong track record in new business acquisition and client relationship management.
- Proven ability to work independently and develop sales strategies from scratch.
- CRM proficiency and comfort working with digital tools to track sales activities and manage leads.
- Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Based in or near New Jersey; flexibility to travel within the US is required.
