Were seeking a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join their rehabilitative team and help patients in an outpatient setting achieve their highest level of communication and swallowing function.
- Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.
- Provide direct therapy to pediatric and adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and techniques.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with policy.
- Participate in departmental initiatives, in-service training, and continuing education.
- Contribute to the development of innovative speech therapy programs and services.
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Eligible for New York State licensure and registration.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain.
- One to two years of hospital-based experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 90 days of hire).
