Primary Purpose
Be responsible for a larger role in process optimization projects, leading lean manufacturing initiatives and working independently on complex analyses to support production improvements. This mid-level role is responsible for overseeing efficiency projects, collaborating with other engineers and providing technical expertise in process engineering. Also implementation of new automation.

MUST COME OUT OF SOME TYPE OF MEAT PROCESSING - Chicken would be bullseye, but any type of protein may work.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering. May look at a non degreed candidate if outof poultry/meat.
- 3 - 5 years' relevant experience.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and process optimization tools.
- AutoCAD skills.
- Collaboration skills and strong teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Project administration.
- Internal resource coordination.
- Presentation skills.
- Protein industry experience a must, poultry manufacturing experience preferred.
- Should be able to troubleshoot and re-design existing systems routinely.
- Work environment includes but is not limited to a normal office environment and operations environment (processing, feed mill, hatchery and wastewater treatment facility).
