Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a portfolio of governmental audit engagements with precision and attention to detail.
- Supervise and mentor teams of 24 auditors, fostering professional growth and high performance.
- Ensure all audits are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards for Partner review.
- Communicate audit findings clearly and effectively to clients and governing bodies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Travel to client sites across Georgia and South Carolina as needed.
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and feedback to Interns and Staff to support career development.
- Stay current with industry standards, including GAAS, GASB, and GAAP.
Qualifications:
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
- Active CPA license required.
- Proven experience in public accounting, preferably with a focus on governmental audits.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAS, GASB, and GAAP principles.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel regionally as engagements require.
