Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review a variety of federal and state tax returns, including 1065, 1120, 1120S, 990, 1040, and 1041.
- Review staff work and provide actionable feedback to support development and technical growth.
- Research and resolve complex tax issues with confidence and accuracy.
- Oversee multiple client engagements simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information, address concerns, and provide expert guidance.
- Stay current on tax laws and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance across all work.
Qualifications:
What Youll Bring- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters in Tax a plus).
- CPA license (preferred or in progress).
- 4+ years of public accounting experience with a strong tax background.
- Excellent technical tax preparation and review skills across multiple return types.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced, client-first environment.
