General Summary:We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to guide projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires clear communication with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders while coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. The Project Manager will plan, delegate, monitor, and report on all aspects of project progress, working cross-functionally to align deliverables with company goals and client expectations.
This position reports directly to the Director of Land Production.
Salary: $70,000 $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Organize and plan project tasks, schedules, and resources.
- Monitor progress, ensure compliance with company standards, and adjust plans as needed.
- Facilitate collaboration between internal departments and external partners.
- Assign tasks to appropriate team members based on skills and experience.
- Oversee project deliverables, schedules, and budgets to optimize performance.
- Maintain focus on quality standards, CAD standards, and quality control procedures.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews within the department.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client communication.
- Stay current with industry best practices, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support professional development and attend relevant training sessions and events.
- Review, comment, and provide quality assurance and control for assigned projects.
- Schedule and track project work, including drafting and fieldwork tasks.
- Attend project meetings, client events, tradeshows, and conferences as needed.
Daily Routine Includes:
- Collaborate with internal and external project teams.
- Conduct daily briefings and debriefings with staff to monitor job progress.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Plot and check project drawings; manage files for reuse.
- Communicate project schedules, delays, and issues proactively with clients.
- Attend internal project management and departmental meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Land Production.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Proven project management experience and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelors degree in Project Management, Drafting, Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools/software.
- Minimum of five years of land survey experience, including field staff management.
- Solid understanding of land surveying principles, boundaries, topographic surveys, platting, and construction stakeout.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve sources of measurement errors.
