About the position:
Position can work within either of these settings, or both, based on preference and experience: 1) inpatient skilled nursing facility with adults, 2) outpatient clinic with pediatrics
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Utilize standardized tests and clinical observations to identify specific needs and strengths.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct therapy services to patients, tailoring interventions to their unique needs and goals.
- Employ evidence-based practices and techniques to address a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Comply with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Licensed SLP or recent graduate
