Progressive Care Nurse
Location: Eureka, California
Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the progressive care unit (PCU).
- Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions, including cardiac, respiratory, and post-surgical cases.
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Implement and evaluate care plans, ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes.
- Utilize telemetry monitoring and other advanced technologies.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- Progressive Care Certification (PCCN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
